காயங்கேணி கடல் சரணாலயம்

இலங்கையின் வனவிலங்கு பாதுகாப்புத் திணைக்களத்தால் Department of Wildlife Conservation (DWC) ஏப்ரல் 2019 இல் பிரகடனப்படுத்தப்பட்ட காயங்கேணி கடல் சரணாலயம் (KMS) 953 ஹெக்டேர் பவளப்பாறைகள், கடல் புல்வெளிகள் மற்றும் சதுப்பு நிலங்களை உள்ளடக்கியது. இது இலங்கையின் கிழக்கு மாகாணத்தில் மட்டக்களப்பு மாவட்டத்தில் காயங்கேணி கிராமத்திற்கு அருகில் அமைந்துள்ளது.

இந்த இணையத்தளம் KMS இல் பல்லுயிர், மேலாண்மை மற்றும் ஆராய்ச்சி பற்றிய தகவல்களை வழங்குகிறது மற்றும் ஐரோப்பிய ஒன்றியத்தின் நிதி உதவியுடன் சமூக வாழ்வாதாரம் மற்றும் பல்லுயிர் மீட்பு Community Livelihood and Biodiversity Recovery (COLIBRI) திட்டத்தின் கீழ் உருவாக்கப்பட்டது.
