It starts on the opposite side of the Nasivanthivu Bridge, soon after passing Stage 2B. This component of the trail is approximately 2 km long, mainly passing through the village of Oddamavadi, and ending at the Oddamavadi Bridge.

As progress is made down the route, visitors will pass a Y‑junction that leads to the port of Valachchenai on the east side. Boats travel to and from Valachchenai Port to Oddamavadi village through this route; therefore, visitors are advised to be aware of boat traffic.

Because boat and fishing activities are consistently high, it is possible to observe many fish production sites from the river, as well as boat wrecks. Visitors may also find many boats anchored and moored along the banks. Alongside the riverbank, the vegetation consists of a mixture of terrestrial trees and mangroves. The combination of vegetation, boat parking, and fishing industry increases the difficulty of accessing the banks of the river, so visitors are advised to rest on their kayaks and avoid embarking to shore along this route.

When passing under the Oddamavadi Bridge, the view is scenic: visitors will observe busy village -life and people fishing on the bridge pillars. In that context, this section of the trail allows for more interaction with the local community.

Stage 03: Nasivantheevu Bridge → Oddamawadi Bridge Trail Specifications Length : 1.93 km Average Duration : 1.5 – 2 hours Overall Difficulty (1-5) : 4 People Interaction : High Biodiversity : Low Cultural : Moderate Wind influence : High Stage Three of the Trail is more local village cultural associated than the other stages.
